The Process
1 - For Roof tiles with moss contamination, we scrape the tiles with one of our tile blade systems, we have Skyscraper, Flexiscraper & Roof Scraper sets. The blades are cut to fit the profile of the tiles.
We also have a range of bespoke wire brush attachments which we can use for flat tiles and to finish off where the blades cant reach
2 - Next we clear/empty the gutters with our Skyvac system, we also do this by hand and our blower system.
We do this in prep for the softwash treatment so the gutters run clear and are sanitised
3. We softwash the roof, this is a low pressure chemical clean, with a psi of no more than 60 we either brush in or spray with our long reach lances a DDAC,BAC50 HSE registered specialist biocide which provides long lasting results, this chemical neutralises any growth still lurking on the surface and then allows the roof tiles to self cleanse over the next 12 months, this can in some cases leave your roof looking nearly new again. It will also prevent re growth on the surface in some cases for up to 4 years.
